Description

Genesis form of our polar bear, even this isn´t a bear. the Uroggerue is more in family with the wolverine than a bear. the Uroggerue lives on Genesis tundra, wandering on the thick ice there never melt. it uses the two antennas to "feel" the weather, a crucial thing when you live on a place where deadly snowstorms can arrive every moment. however the antennas can do more, like communicate with their cubs and grab things there are too small for its big paws. when a snowstorm arrives, the Uroggerue hides its antennas inside a void on each of its sides, to protect the very sensitive antennas and then let itself get buried by the snow. when the storm is over, it will dig itself out and go back to whatever it was doing. the Uroggerue is solitary, only seeing others of its kind in the mating time, the female then gives birth to one cub and then the father will take care of the cub when the summer arrives. the male stays with the female all that time, a sign that he cares for the cub. he will care for it for around three years, then the cub will be ready to fend for itself.

when hunting, the Uroggerue wander around on the ice, trying to find a spot where the ice is thinner. when it does, it will dig a hole into the ice, making a breather hole and the perfect trap for the prey. sometimes they do dig in the ice for no reason what so ever. they often have to unless they want to have too long claws. their claws grows twice as fast as a humans so the Uroggerue often have to dig their claws down in size, because of that, there are many breathing holes for the whale like creatures in the tundra.
but when hunting, the Uroggerue can wait for hours for its prey, it prefer staying on the ice when its not a good swimmer. when it finally catch something, it uses its long teeth to grab it and make sure there is no escape. it also uses those teeth to make the kill, exactly like the saber tooth cat.
I wouldn´t be certain the Uroggerue would go extinct if the tundra would vanish, it, like many of the other wild magic animals are quick to adapt. this one  definitely have brain to it, believe it or not, but this one is pretty smart

if you have any quistions about the Uroggerue, please feel free to ask and I will do my best answering them.
